Loud Boom In Albuquerque Today - I posted about it on facebook one. Albuquerque residents were rattled by a loud boom heard across the city on thursday, which turned out to be a “controlled explosives test” conducted by sandia national. Did anyone else hear that loud boom sound at around 3:50 am on january 29th 2025? It sorta sounded like a really loud sudden thunder clap. I looked outside and it’s a clear night nothing. The raptors out of holloman/ alamogordo boom daily and can be heard in any area of town and will knock framed photos off of walls. That being said they have more going on with sonic.
